A 13-year-old boy from the southern part of India was born with a rare congenital anomaly—one of his legs had no knee joint , and in its place was a small, deformed foot rotated upward . Since birth, he had never walked on his own two feet . His only way to move was by using crutches , and every step of life depended on them. The family spent years visiting prosthetists doctors across the country. Every expert gave the same opinion— amputation —as the only technically feasible solution. But the family was emotionally unprepared for such a drastic step.
